Our small RV rental business needs a skilled freelancer to set up a basic WooCommerce store on our existing WordPress website to sell essential RV accessories and service add-ons to our renters.

Detailed Requirements

We're looking for someone to help us integrate e-commerce functionality into our current WordPress site. The main goal is to offer a simple way for our clients to purchase or add on items before or during their RV rental.

Key Requirements:

• Existing WordPress Site: We already have a WordPress site up and running. You'll be working within this environment.

• WooCommerce Installation & Configuration: Install and fully configure the WooCommerce plugin, ensuring all general store settings (currency, location, tax options if applicable) are correctly set up.

• Product Creation: Add up to 5 simple products. These might include items like an 'RV Starter Kit', 'Portable Grill Rental', 'Extra Linen Pack', 'Pre-Trip Cleaning Service', or 'Bike Rack Add-on'. Each product needs a description, pricing, and placeholder image (we'll provide these).

• Payment Gateway Setup: Integrate a standard payment gateway like Stripe or PayPal for secure online transactions. The client will provide credentials.

• Shipping/Pickup Configuration: Set up simple shipping options, likely focusing on 'Local Pickup' or 'No Shipping Required' for service-based items, as these are add-ons for our rental business.

• Basic Shop Page: Ensure product pages and a basic shop page are clean, functional, and integrate reasonably well with our existing theme's styling.

• Brief Training: Provide a short walkthrough on how to add new products and manage basic orders once the setup is complete.

Deliverables

Upon successful completion of this project, we expect the following:

Core Deliverables:

• Fully Configured WooCommerce: A properly installed and configured WooCommerce plugin on our WordPress site, ready for transactions.

• 5 Product Listings: Up to five (5) distinct product listings created within WooCommerce, complete with provided descriptions, pricing, and images.

• Functional Checkout Process: A fully tested and functional shopping cart and checkout process, integrated with the specified payment gateway (Stripe or PayPal).

• Order Management Access: Clear access to WooCommerce order management within the WordPress dashboard for our team.

• Basic Handover Documentation/Training: A 30-minute video call for a handoff session, covering basic product management (editing existing, adding new simple products) and viewing orders.
