01. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the BotDigit platform to facilitate, execute, or support any of the following activities:

  • Illegal Acts: Promoting or engaging in illegal transactions, money laundering, fraud, or tax evasion.
  • Currency Exchange & Card-to-Crypto Arbitrage: Utilizing platform wallets, direct card deposits, or bank top-ups as an informal fiat-to-cryptocurrency off-ramp or cash-out conduit exceeding disclosed micro-payout allowances ($10/day, $50/month).
  • Harmful Content: Listing, sharing, or developing software designed to harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against individuals.
  • Malware & Exploit Sales: Distributing, uploading, or listing malware, spyware, system exploits, ransomware, or cracking tools.
  • Circumvention: Attempting to bypass the platform's escrow protection by soliciting off-platform payments for active contracts initialized on BotDigit.

02. Marketplace Product Rules

Sellers uploading templates, boilerplate repositories, or SaaS products must ensure high quality and ownership standards:

  • IP Ownership: Listed products must be your original intellectual property or distributed under a verified open-source license that allows commercial resale. Reselling stolen repositories, nulled software, or unmodified public templates is strictly prohibited.
  • Malicious Code Scan: All uploaded files must pass automated antivirus/malware validation scans. Listings found with hidden tracking pixels, miners, backdoors, or malicious obfuscated scripts will be deleted immediately.
  • Accuracy: Product descriptions, screenshots, and live previews must accurately represent the current state of the product version.

03. Contractor & Freelancer Conduct

Freelancers representing themselves or their agencies are expected to maintain professional standards:

  • Truthful Credentials: Freelancers must not present fake portfolios, misrepresent their skills, or list credentials they do not possess.
  • Delivery Dedication: Ghosting clients on funded milestones, submitting empty files to bypass deadline rules, or refusing to communicate during active contracts is prohibited.
  • Agency Responsibility: Agencies are fully responsible for the work quality, communication, and conduct of any team member added to their agency profile.

04. Client & Customer Account Rules

Clients hiring contractors or buying products must adhere to clean payment and project scopes:

  • Milestone Creep Abuse: Clients may not refuse to release funded escrow milestones for work that fully complies with the initial scope of the contract.
  • Payment Integrity: Initiating fraudulent credit card chargebacks or UPI dispute claims for completed milestones or downloaded digital products will result in permanent account termination.
  • Professional Interaction: Respectful interaction with freelancers, free of extortion or threats of bad reviews, is mandatory.

05. System Abuse & Scraping

The following technical actions are prohibited:

  • Reverse Engineering: Probing or testing platform vulnerabilities without express authorization.
  • AI Abuse: Attempting to cause system performance degradation via recursive prompt inject queries on AI assistant features.
  • Scraping: Using automated crawlers, bots, or scripts to extract user emails, product source files, or proprietary portfolio repositories.

06. Policy Enforcement

BotDigit reserves the right to audit, monitor, and investigate violations of this policy. Depending on the severity of the infraction, enforcement actions can include:

  • Formal warning and temporary account limitation.
  • Removal of active marketplace listings.
  • Forfeiture of disputed escrow balances.
  • Permanent account termination and exclusion from the platform.
