1. Core Terminology Definitions
An individual or organization has joined the movement and committed to responsible hardware lifecycle pledges. Zero empirical claims allowed.
A member has submitted an action (e.g. self-reported e-waste drop-off or laptop upgrade). Marked as pending audit or community reported.
Validated by an authorized CPCB recycler weighbridge slip, school headmaster receipt, or NIST 800-88 sanitization certificate.
Formal statutory chartered accountant audit for non-profit and CSR fund deployment under MCA and Income Tax rules.
Methodology Alignment (Non-Affiliation Notice)
Our lifecycle emission models are informed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Waste Reduction Model (WARM v15) personal computers and electronics factors, alongside published IEEE/ISO 14040 electronics LCA literature.

3. Data Sanitization & Privacy Standard
Every donated or recycled storage drive undergoes NIST Special Publication 800-88 Revision 1 compliant sanitization (Clear or Purge level) prior to secondary school deployment or recycling. Serialized wipe manifests with cryptographic certificates are issued to donating enterprises.
